    1. What is the Mean score for Mr. Hong’s class?
    2. What is the Standard Deviation?
    3. Formulate your null hypothesis (nondirectional) (Three nulls)
    4. Formulate alternative hypothesis (directional (Three alternatives)
    5. Follow the seven major steps for testing the Null hypothesis and describe Each accordingly.
    6. Present your inferential statistics in Tables using APA format (Don’t forget to report all of the necessary statistics exactly the way in which the tables are shown, based on Mr. Hong’s class data.
    7. Don’t forget to use df= n-1 instead of regular n for calculation of t value.
    8. Report your Results in Apa Style and Format.

Assignment #2: (Comparing the two means of two Independent groups using Two-tailed-t test.

Given the test scores of Mr. Hong’s wife, Sarai, who taught 24, level 8 students at Puna Elem. School. 1. Calculate Sarai’’s class Mean
    2. Calculate the standard deviation
    3. Formulate the null hypothesis
    4. Formulate the alternative hypothesis
    5. Follow the seven major steps for testing the Null hypothesis and describe Each accordingly.
    6. Present your inferential statistics in tables using APA format (Don’t forget to report all of the necessary statistics exactly the way in which the table are shown, using the couple’s class results.
    7. Don’t forget to use df= n-2 since you are comparing two separate Independent Groups, using the Two-tailed Independent t test.
    8. Report your Results in APA Style and format. (This assignment is worth 90 points).
  • LASA 2—Authentic Assessment standardized report (PPT)

    $20.00

    PowerPoint Presentation

From a school or a district, obtain a copy of a standardized report from the past year for a particular class or grade level. Discuss this report with an administrator or teacher to determine how they use and view such reports. During the discussion, determine the impact on instruction that the report is likely to have.

Prepare a PowerPoint presentation and speaker’s notes that include:

    • A summary of the discussion with the administrator.
    • Describe the assessment (criterion-referenced, norm-referenced, a combination, etc.).
    • Identify the purpose of the test.
    • Complete your own analysis of the report data using statistical analysis techniques (frequency distributions, measure of central tendency, measures of variability, standard scores, stanines, etc.) in your analysis.
    • Based on your analysis, identify one or two classroom or grade improvement goals and actions or steps to be taken during the next year.
    • Based on the goal(s) identified, include the description, purpose, and timing of a formative assessment that will be used to determine progress toward the goal.

  • Standardized Education Vs. The Individual

    $15.00

Pursue one main argument concerning a particular relationship between standardized education and the individual, using two of the three sources previously discussed, namely “The Banking Concept of Education,” “The Achievement of Desire,” and An Education, to support your claims.

Standardized education means different things to different people, and individuals like Richard Rodriguez, Jenny,  you, and I may hold views on and attitudes toward standardized education (as opposed to education in general) that have little in common.  This is why from the outset, you want to establish or describe a  relationship between standardized education and the individual–real or hypothetical–in a way that enables you to bring forth an argument.

You may, for example, describe the relationship between standardized education and the individual as one that is structured by an uneven access to authority, with the former having the power to dictate the terms and methods of learning, and the latter having little to no power to challenge the former.  How does such a relationship influence individual learners who may or may not respond well to authority or structure ?

Alternatively, you may describe the relationship between standardized education and the individual as one that is modeled after/for existing personal and social relations that are thought to be productive, orderly, and beneficial to most people.  But within such a relationship, how might individuals who are not part of (or do not identify themselves with) the majority feel toward a system of learning that is for the majority? Basically, you can establish or describe the relationship between standardized education and the individual anyway you want, as long as you can build an argument on top of it and support it with good reasoning and concrete examples from the two sources and your own personal experience.

  • LASA 1—Current Assessment Issues White Paper

    $15.00

There are several current assessment issues specifically relevant to teachers (validity, reliability, bias, etc.). Pick one of the issues discussed in this course, your readings, or one that has been discussed in your school that you feel is the most important or particularly needs to be addressed at your site.

You will construct a white paper that will be given to various stakeholders in your school community (teachers, parents, students, administrators, community members, etc.) that will assist in explaining this assessment issue from multiple perspectives. Include an explanation of the interrelationship between instruction, curriculum, and assessment at your site as to why this is an issue.

Find ten references that include professional publications, federal, educational, and professional Web sites to support your discussion of the issue. Conclude the paper with your recommendations relevant to your site. The recommendations can include, but not be limited to, best practices, suggestions to ensure appropriate assessments (this could be changes implementation), a discussion of how these assessments are congruent with instructional objectives, a guide for professional development, etc.

  • Infertility education workshop for primary care providers

    $20.00

    Provider Education Program

Develop a two-hour infertility education workshop for primary care providers. The goal of this educational seminar will be to enhance the capacity of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, or other primary care providers to meet the needs of the growing number of individuals who face challenges with regard to fertility.

    Task:

Submit a 2 pages final paper in which you summarize objectives of your workshop, your marketing strategy, the format you plan to use, the topics to be addressed, and your plan for assessing overall effectiveness.

Although you are expected to use information gathered for previous modular assignments, your paper should not merely be a compilation of these materials. Instead you should elaborate extensively upon the information that you have collected and presented “along the way.” The end result should be a “stand-alone” report/paper that you could present to a group of health education colleagues.

*** Your paper should incorporate a minimum of 15 peer-reviewed sources, which should be cited in the body of the document and in a reference list at the end. ***
