Modelling and Analysis of CUK Converter

Abstract
Solar energy is abundantly available and that has made it possible to harvest it and utilize it properly. A photovoltaic system can be a standalone generating unit or can be a grid connected generating unit. The main challenge of the generation side of the PV system is to generate as much power as it can. This is related to the payback and efficiency of the system.Thus in PV system efficient dc-dc CUK converter is used to control the load power and to ensure that system operates in maximum power point.
