Background

Now that you’ve examined some of the feasibility and ethical considerations related to conducting a research study, it’s time to apply them to critically evaluating sources for a literature review. In this assignment, you will prepare a podcast to educate a group of doctoral students on these issues.

Instructions

For this assignment, you will create a mock video podcast (or a transcript for a mock video podcast) on feasibility and ethical considerations in designing and conducting research. A podcast is similar to a talk given on the radio in which a speaker explains a particular topic and may or may not answer questions from an interviewer. The topic of your podcast is “Feasibility and Ethical Considerations in Dissertation Research.” In this podcast, you will not answer questions from your listeners. However, you will address the following:

  • general concerns related to research feasibility and why they are important in designing a research study.
  • specific feasibility concerns that may appear in sources being considered for the literature review and how those concerns may impact the study credibility and results.
